Between 26 and 28 November 2025, the University of Primorska, Faculty of Management (UP FM), was visited by Dr. Bojan Pejović from the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro (FE UM) in Podgorica as part of a bilateral project between Slovenia (UP FM and University of Novo Mesto) and Montenegro (FE UM). The title of the bilateral project is The Impact of External Shocks on Tourism and Inflation. The researcher from Montenegro was hosted by Prof. Dr. Štefan Bojnec from UP FM. The discussion focused on the work done so far and the continuation of the research in the coming year. The emphasis is on understanding macroeconomic stability and the effects of external shocks on these two economies with a focus on tourism and inflation. Time-series econometric methods and advances in machine language techniques are used.
